One brand. Different products. Different worlds.

One brand. Different products. Different worlds.

Kilo is a global vape and e-cigarette brand with a portfolio spanning e-liquids, disposable devices, and related product lines and sister brands. As Lead Designer, I worked across the Kilo portfolio to develop brand identities, packaging, digital experiences, campaigns, and product launches for both U.S. and international markets.

Different products called for different personalities. Rather than applying one visual style across everything, each product and sub-brand was designed around its own audience, positioning, and personality. My work moved between bold and playful, premium and refined, and everything in between, creating distinct visual worlds while designing within the larger Kilo ecosystem.

Kilo MMXIV

Evolving the flagship brand.

Kilo MMXIV was an opportunity to give the flagship e-liquid collection a fresh visual identity. As Lead Designer, I developed the logo, typography, color palette, and geometric patterns, then carried the system across the entire product lineup. Each flavor received its own color and pattern, creating a distinct personality while keeping the collection visually connected.

Beyond the identity, I designed the product packaging and a comprehensive catalog showcasing each flavor, its packaging, and product details. From individual bottle labels and boxes to the full collection presentation, I brought every element together into a cohesive system that could work across packaging, print, and marketing.

Digital Collateral

Kilo Digital.

Turning the brand into an experience.

The Kilo website gave us an opportunity to tell a much bigger story than the products alone. Drawing from the founders’ journey and the company’s beginnings during the early growth of the e-liquid industry, I art directed and designed a digital experience that put Kilo’s personality, history, and culture at the center.

The visual direction leaned into bold color, large-scale imagery, editorial layouts, product storytelling, and content about the people behind the brand. Rather than creating a traditional e-commerce experience, the goal was to build a digital home that felt immersive and unmistakably Kilo, bringing its energy and story to life online.

Kilo EU.

Same brand. A new market.

Kilo Europe was developed specifically for the European market, bringing a distinct visual direction to a new product line within the larger Kilo portfolio. I worked closely with a 3D artist to develop fully rendered product imagery, creating polished, photorealistic visuals that showcased the devices and packaging with precision and consistency.

Using those renders, I designed the paid advertising creative and extended the visual direction into Kilo Europe's digital presence. I also collaborated with a developer to design and launch the website, bringing together product storytelling, bold graphics, and a darker, more refined aesthetic. From the initial product visuals to the ads and website, I helped establish a cohesive creative identity tailored to the European audience.

From evolving Kilo’s flagship identity to launching new product lines, building digital experiences, and expanding into international markets, every project brought a new creative challenge. The work spanned branding, packaging, product catalogs, 3D art direction, paid campaigns, and web design, each with its own personality and purpose.

Different products. Different audiences. Different visual worlds. All part of a larger brand story that gave me the opportunity to explore just how far a creative identity could go.
